College Gymnastics Camps

We’ve compiled a list of the country’s most popular gymnastics camps. The gymnastics camps listed on this list are primarily intended for intermediate to advanced gymnasts (both men and women) interested in competing at the college level (and beyond)!

Alabama Gymnastics Camp

About the camp: 2011/2012 NCAA Women’s Gymnastics National Champion hosts an annual summer gymnastics camp for girls. The camp is led by Alabama coaches Sarah & David Patterson. The camp is held within multiple venues on Alabama’s campus including the 12,500 sq. ft Frances Smith training facility and Coleman Coliseum (15,000+ capacity).

Who should attend: Girls age 6 – 18. Beginner to elite levels are encouraged to sign-up.

Fees: Overnight – $645, Commuter – $495. Fees include instruction and leotard.

Penn State Gymnastics Camp

About the camp: There are two camps, one designed for boys and one for girls held within the university’s state of the art facility (13,400 sq. ft). Overnight and commuter options are available. PSU’s gymnastics camp provides a blend of structured group sessions and individualized breakouts. Emphasis is placed on training for the Olympic events. Girls can expect both dance and conditioning elements within the training sessions. For boys, enrollment is limited to 64. The camp is led by Randy Jepson, head coach of the Penn State University men’s gymnastics team for the past two decades and a three-time NCAA coach of the year and Jeff Thompson, head coach of the PSU women’s gymnastics team and two-time SEC coach of the year.

Who should attend: Girls age 6 – 18, Boys age 8 – 18. Beginner to elite levels are welcomed.

Fees: Girls: Overnight – $600, Commuter – $550. Boys: Overnight – $520, Commuter – $455. Fees include instruction, meals and a t-shirt.

Stanford Gymnastics Camp

About the camp: The camp is led by Chris Swircek, Associate Head Coach of the Stanford University Women’s Gymnastics team. Swircek specializes in the uneven bars and vault as well as assists with recruiting efforts. Camp attendees can expect to cover: basics, dance, strength and flexibility. The camp maintains a student to coach ratio of 8:1, ensuring personalized and attentive coaching. Camp facilities are held at the Ford Center Gym, which now houses a 50 foot Tumble Track, in ground trampoline and foam bar pit.

Who should attend: Girls age 5 – 18. Beginner and compulsory level are welcomed.

Fees: Day camp – $495 (which includes lunch).
